We love a good media player, one that can perform multiple tasks. Most media players available for Windows today tend to bring several features to the table, and the same can be said for 3nity Media Player. Here’s the thing: the 3nity Media Player is nothing special; it’s merely an alternative to other similar products. The question right now is whether or not it’s a good alternative, one you should be using over everything else, even paid options.
We like this media player because it can play almost all media files. This is a big deal for media junkies, but if you’re just a person looking to play MP3 or MP4 content, you’ll be just fine because every media player supports those formats. Another feature we need to mention is the ability to burn content to DVD, VCD, and CDs. Now, it’s not possible to burn to Blu-Ray, but we do not view that as a major problem because we’re entering an age where physical media is becoming obsolete.
If you have a TV capture card attached to your computer, don’t worry because 3nity Media Player supports it, so that’s a plus, right?
3nity Media Player for Windows PC
3nity Media Player for Windows is a portable multimedia player that can play most audio & video formats like MPEG-2, MPEG-4, H.264, DivX, MPEG-1, MP3, OGG, AAC, etc., as well as CDs, DVDs, VCDs & network streams. Now let us take a look at what it has to offer.
1] File
Once you’ve launched the media player, you’ll realize how simple the user interface is. Nothing flashy at all, which we like to see because we’re tired of all these graphically rich players that eat system resources for breakfast and second breakfast.
Now, if you want to play content from your hard drive, just click on File, then select Play file. If you want to stream, select Play URL instead, or Play CD/DVD if that’s your thing.
Clicking on File will also allow the user to open their TV tuner and even add new skins to the player.
2] View
When it comes down to the View section, then, it’s a place where the user can customize the size of the player. Folks can set it to half size, full size, or even back to its original size if that’s the need.
Want to go compact mode? No problem, friend; this is definitely something you can do without any issues. The user can also make sure the 3nity Media Player is always on top.
3] Play
OK, so the Play tab is all about controlling a video that is being played at the moment. Now, this can all be done by the panel below, and much easier at that. However, if you’re stubborn and weird, let’s do it the hard way.
Clicking on the tab allows the user to play, pause, and stop. Going back and forth between titles is also a possibility, but we like the option to rewind or fast-forward by 10 seconds all the way up to 10 minutes.
4] Options
If you want to add subtitles to your video, click on Options then select Load Subtitles. You must locate subtitle file on your drive, then hit Open. Now, if you want to change the aspect ratio, this can be done.
Most videos are 4:3 and 16:9, but if you want, you can force it to 2.35:1. Want to change the language? Well, that’s possible with the three options available. English, Spanish, and French are the ones available.
Selecting the Settings section, then, will bring up Master Reset. This is where users can change the brightness, contrast, saturation, hue, gamma, and the sub size.
We have to say, 3nity Media Player does a fine job at playing back most music and movie content. Download 3nity Media Player for free via the official website.
