If you need to change the email address along with the password for Facebook, X (Twitter), or LinkedIn account, then this post will show you how to change the primary email address quickly.

How to change the email address on Facebook

To change the email address on Facebook, follow these steps-

1. Open the Facebook website and sign in to your account.
2. Click on your profile picture.
3. Select Settings & privacy > Settings.
4. Expand the Contact section.
5. Click on Add another email address or mobile number.
6. Write down your new email address.
7. Click the Add button.
8. Enter your password and click the Submit button.
9. Open email inbox and click on the verification link.

To get started, open the Facebook website and sign in to your account. Following that, click on your profile picture visible on the top-right corner and select Settings & privacy > Settings. In the General tab, you will see the Contact section that you need to expand.

Then, click on the Add another email address or mobile number link, write down your new email address, and click the Add button. Alternatively, you can visit this page, sign in to your account and start typing your email address.

After that, it is mandatory to enter your Facebook account password and click the Submit button. Now, Facebook sends a verification email to your inbox. Open the email and click on the verification link.

Once done, Facebook will show the new email address in the Contact section.

How to change the email address on X (Twitter)

To change the email address on Twitter, follow the following steps-

1. Sign in to your Twitter account.
2. Click on the More button and select Settings and privacy.
3. Click on the Email in the Account tab.
4. Click the Update email address button and enter your password.
5. Write down a new email address and click the Next button.
6. Enter the verification code sent to your new email address.
7. Click the Verify button.

At first, open the Twitter website in your browser and sign in to your account. Following that, click on the More button visible on the left-hand side and select Settings and privacy option.

Then, make sure that you are in the Account tab. If so, click on your Email under Login and security. It shows the current email address. Click the Update email address button and enter your account password.

As an alternative, this page opens the same interface where you can find your current email address.

After that, write down your new email address and click the Next button. Now it asks you to enter the verification code sent to your new email address.

Enter the code and click on the Verify button.

Once done, the old email address will be replaced with the new one immediately.

To change the email address on LinkedIn, follow these steps-

1. Open the LinkedIn website and sign in to your account.
2. Click on the Me button and select the Settings & Privacy option.
3. Switch to the Sign in & security tab.
4. Click on the Email addresses option.
5. Click the Add email address button and write down the new email ID.
6. Click on the Send verification button.
7. Enter your password.
8. Click the verification link.
9. Click the Make primary button and enter your password.
10. Click on Make primary button again.
