Over 15 years ago, Marc Andreessen developed a browser called Netscape… Netscape was defeated by Internet Explorer. Now Andreessen appears to be wanting a rematch. He is working on and has launched a new alternative web browser called RockMelt.

Rockmelt makes it easy to stay in touch with friends, search online, and get updates from your favorite websites.

- Share button lets you quickly update your Facebook status, Twitter tweet links, post on walls, etc
- Social Reading
- Instant news from your favorite sites
- Automatic sync – access news and bookmarks from anywhere.
RockMelt has been acquired by Yahoo. Its last release v 2.2 is however available at some download sites.
Wats the point. Already many browsers!

Shame these software devs have no integrity, deciding instead to take the money and run.
