10] Review 3rd-party Firewall/Antivirus Settings
While Windows Defender doesn’t block Copilot from connecting to the Microsoft servers if you are using any other security software, you might want to check if it’s aggressive enough to block such attempts.
It usually happens when you use aggressive mode or if your admin blocks Copilot. If so, you need to contact the admin to resolve the issue.
11] Uninstall Windows Update or restore your system
Sometimes, a Windows Update causes issues. In such cases, uninstalling that update helps. If this problem started occurring on your system after installing a particular Windows Update, you can uninstall that particular update.
Alternatively, you can use the System Restore tool to restore your system to the previous working state, provided the previous restore points exist on your system. While restoring your system, select the date after which you started facing this issue.
If nothing else works, you need to connect to Microsoft Support for further assistance with the application.
