The error code itself indicates that the server failed to complete the request because it encountered an error. So, it’s not an issue with your browser, your computer, or your Internet connection but the server. Now given this, there is not much you can do. Wait for a few minutes and try again. If that does not help, try these suggestions:
- Check the status of Google Service
- Clear the cache and cookies
- Disabling extensions
- Use Incognito Mode
- Enable or Disable VPN.
1] Check the status of Google Service
You can use the Google Workspace Status Dashboard to check the current and past status of core Google Workspace services, such as Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Meet.
It displays any recent outages or disruptions. Click a notification for more information about an issue, including an estimate of when it might be resolved. If all looks good and you are still facing the problem, move to the next solution.
2] Clear the cache and cookies
Every browser has its own share of issues and browsers like Chrome, Firefox, and Microsoft Edge are no different. Most of them are related to corrupted cache, and cookies, and can be readily fixed by clearing Cache, Cookies, and browsing data.
3] Disable unnecessary extensions
Sometimes, you encounter problems due to plugins, add-ons, or extensions that you have installed in your browser. To narrow down your search and confirm if that’s the case, you can try disabling one or more of your browser add-ons & extensions.
4] Use Incognito Mode
Launch your browser in Incognito Mode and see if you can get it working.
5] Enable or Disable VPN
If you are using a VPN, disable it and see. If you are not using one, use a free VPN and see if that helps.
