Fix Missing Menu Bar in Illustrator

Fix Missing Menu Bar in Illustrator

1] Update Illustrator

2] Rename UXP Folder

The location of the UXP folder may be different based on your operating system or version of Illustrator. To find the UXP folder go to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\UXP. The UXP folder may not be available in older versions of Illustrator.

Winsock stores settings that are important to how those applications and communications interact in a database usually referred to as the Winsock Catalog.

To run the reset Winstock do the following:

Close all applications.
Choose Start and type CMD to launch the command prompt.
Type the following command at the command prompt: netsh Winsock reset
Press Enter.
Close the command prompt window.
Restart your computer.
Launch Adobe Illustrator.

4] Boot and check in Clean Boot State

Booting the system in Clean Boot State starts your system in a manner that it prevents third-party software/services from automatically loading or opening.

If Illustrator launches fine in the Clean Boot State, then there could be some third-party services or applications like antivirus, plugins, or web extensions that are conflicting with the launch of Illustrator. Identify and disable the conflicting program on your user account and then launch Illustrator.
