In Microsoft Access to add images to your database, you have to use the attachment feature. The attachment feature is a feature in Access that allows the user to add one or more files to the records in your database such as documents, presentations, images, and more.
How to insert Picture in Access Form
To add pictures on a Form in Microsoft Access follow the methods below.
Launch Microsoft Access.
Create a table in Design View or use an existing database table,
We are going to add an attachment to the table follow the steps below.
Click View on the Home tab and select Design View.
On the Design View interface type Photo as a Field Name.
Then select Attachment as a data type to the field name photo.
Then click Save.
Go back to the Datasheet View and you will see the attachment symbol in both the field name section and the row.
Double click the attachment symbol in the row.
An Attachment dialog box will open.
Click the Add button and choose a picture from your files.
Then click OK.
Create a Form.
After creating your Form.
Right-click your Form and select Design View.
On the Forms Design View interface, you can shorten or lengthen the Field names entry boxes by clicking them and dragging them.
Click the Add Existing Fields button in the Tools group.
A Field List pane appears on the right
Click Show all tables.
Left-click the Photo Field Name and drag it to the Form.
Expand the photo and click Save.
Click the Form View icon on the bottom right of the Form’s Design View interface.
Now on the Form View, you will see the Photo on the Form.
How to remove a picture from MS Access Form
If you want to remove a photo from your Form.
Close the Form.
Click the table that contains the attachments you have in the database that is linked to your Form.
Double click the attachment symbol again.
An Attachment dialog box will open.
Click the attached photo in the dialog box, then click Remove.
Click OK.
You can do the same for the other one.
