In this post, we will show you how to change tab width in the Chrome browser on Windows 11/10 computer. We already know that when we start opening tabs in Google Chrome, the tab width starts shrinking and it makes the tabs smaller and smaller. And, when too many tabs are opened, the tab width is shrunk to the size of a pinned tab. That makes it quite difficult to access or identify a particular tab. But there is a trick that helps you set tab width for Google Chrome so that you can easily access a tab when plenty of tabs are opened.
To change tab width in the Chrome browser, you can use a hidden feature. That feature helps to set tabs to shrink to medium width, large width, pinned tab width, or don’t shrink at all (like it is visible in the screenshot above). Once you have enabled the tab-width option, it will also enable Tab Scrolling Buttons option automatically to help you easily move back and forth to access the opened tabs.
