What is the difference between cache and cookies?
You may have heard these terms being used interchangeably, whereas, in reality, they mean different things. The cache was developed to store site settings, that’s why you may have noticed that websites that you open frequently take lesser time now as opposed to the first time when you opened them. Cookies, on the other hand, are used to store user choices.
Since caches are there to decrease the load time and save the content of the site, they are only stored on your system. Whereas cookies are stored on both system and the server. Because of all this, cookies will take less space than caches.
That’s it!
