1] Create the New tab
Launch PowerPoint.
Click the File tab
On the backstage view, click Options.
A PowerPoint Options dialog box will open.

A Rename dialog box will open.
Enter a name and click OK.
Now we have a tab.

Whenever you add a new tab, a new custom group will appear below the tab.
Click New Group below, the new tab, and click the Rename button.
Change the name of the group; for example, we are going to call the group Text.
Then click OK.
You can create more groups for your tab if you want.
3] Adding buttons to the tab
Now we are going to add some buttons to the new group.
Go to the Choose Commands From list box and choose All Commands.
Click the button that you want from the list, then click Add.
Do the same to add more buttons to the tab under the new group. Then click OK.
You will now see the new tab on the menu bar.
