1] Use the Setting app
The Settings app is commonly used to find out the Windows 11 computer name. To get your computer name, use the below steps:
- In the first step, open Settings using the Windows key + I keyboard shortcut.

- The About section in the Settings app also shows your computer name.

To get it started, open the Command Prompt first. For this, click on Start, type cmd, and press the Enter key.
Once you open the Command Prompt, type the below command and press Enter,
hostname
After you run the command line, you will see your computer’s name on the screen.
You can also use another command to get the name of your computer. Type the below command line in the Command Prompt window:
ipconfig /all
Once you type the above command line and press the Enter key, a list of information will appear on your screen. These include information about Windows IP configuration, Ethernet adapter, and Wireless LAN adapter.
The name of your Windows 11 computer appears next to the Host name under Windows IP configuration.
4] Use System Properties
It is also possible to find out your computer name through System Properties. This is how you do it.
Open the Run dialog box using the Windows key + I shortcut key.
Type sysdm.cpl in the text box and press Enter.
