Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Google Chrome

- Press Win+R to display the Run prompt.
- Type regedit > hit the Enter button.
- Click the Yes button.
- Navigate to Policies in HKCM.
- Right-click on Policies > New > Key.
- Name it as Google.
- Right-click on Google > New > Key.
- Set the name as Chrome.
- Right-click on Chrome > New > DWORD (32-bit) Value.
- Name it as BrowserSignin.
- Double-click on it to set the Value data as 2.
- Click the OK button and restart your computer.

To get started, you need to open the Registry Editor. For that, press Win+R to open the Run dialog, type regedit, and hit the Enter button. Once the UAC prompt appears, click the Yes option.
After opening the Registry Editor, navigate to this path:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies
Here you need to create sub-keys. For that, right-click on the Policies key, select New > Key, and name it Google.
Then, right-click on the Google key, select New > Key, and set the name as Chrome. Next, you need to create a REG_DWORD value. For that, right-click on the Chrome key, select New > DWORD (32-bit) Value, and name it as BrowserSignin.
Double-click on this REG_DWORD value to set the Value data as 2.
Click the OK button to save the change. At last, you need to restart your computer. However, if you want to change the setting back to normal, you need to delete the BrowserSignin REG_DWORD value. For that, right-click on it, select the Delete option and click the Yes button. Alternatively, you can delete the Chrome or Google sub-key as well.
Why does Chrome force me to sign?
If Google Chrome is forcing you to sign in to use the browser, chances are your administrator has applied the aforementioned setting. If you do not have the administrator privilege, it is mandatory to log in to your Google account to use the browser. However, if you have the permission to change the GPEDIT setting, you can navigate to Google Chrome in Computer Configuration, double-click on the Browser sign in settings and choose the Not Configured option.
How do I disable forced Chrome login?
To disable forced Chrome login on Windows 11/10 PC, you can open the Registry Editor first. Then, navigate to Chrome in HKCM. Right-click on the BrowserSignin REG_DWORD value and select the Delete option. To confirm, click on the Yes option.
