How to import bookmarks from Chrome and Firefox to Brave browser
To import bookmarks from Chrome and Firefox to Brave browser, follow these steps:
- Open the Brave browser on your computer.
- Click on the menu icon.
- Select Bookmarks > Import bookmarks and settings.
- Expand the drop-down list and choose a browser.
- Select what you want to import.
- Click the Import button.
- Click the Done button.

To get started, you need to open the Brave browser on your computer and click on the menu icon in the top-right corner. Then, select the Bookmarks menu and the Import bookmarks and settings option.
Alternatively, you can open the Settings panel of the Brave browser, ensure that you are in the Get started tab and click on the Import bookmarks and settings option. On the other hand, you can open the browser and enter this in the address bar: brave://settings/importData
Once the respective popup window is opened, you can expand the drop-down list and choose either Chrome or Firefox browser.
Next, you need to select what you want to import. Apart from the bookmarks or favorites, you can also import browsing history, saved passwords, autofill form data, etc. Once the selection is made, you can click on the Import button.
It takes hardly a moment to get them done. Once done, you can click the Done button and find all the data as per your selection.
At times, you might have both browsers installed on different computers. In that case, you must export the bookmarks to an HTML file from the source browser.
You can then open the same import panel on the Brave browser. However, you need to expand the drop-down list and choose the Bookmarks HTML File option this time.
Next, click on the Choose File button and select the HTML file you exported from the Chrome or Firefox browser containing all the bookmarks.

How do I transfer from Chrome to Brave?
In order to transfer from Chrome to Brave browser, you need to use the Import bookmarks and settings option to transfer all data. As said earlier, it is possible to transfer browsing history, bookmarks, saved passwords, extensions, etc. You can choose a certain option and click the Import button to start the import process.
