1] Install Minecraft: Bedrock Edition for Chromebook

Furthermore, it gives the user access to games such as Minecraft, and Minecraft Realms, and the ability to experience cross-play with friends on other platforms.

To move forward, your Chromebook must meet the minimum hardware requirements in order to install Minecraft: Bedrock Edition.

This version of Minecraft is more complicated to run on Chromebooks, and that’s because it only supports the likes of Windows, macOS, and Linux.

Here’s the thing, if your Chromebook is not Linux enabled, then first you must navigate to Settings, and from there, move over to Advanced > Developers.

From there, click on the Linux development environment.

You will need the services of a license to get Minecraft: Education Edition and the cost is $5.04 per user for all eligible educational institutions. For those institutions that are non-eligible, be prepared to spend $12 per user.
