PUBG Mobile has been a huge success. It has literally changed the gaming scene in India and similar developing markets. Being free to play and download makes it accessible to more audiences. But the only limitation being faced here was the fact that the configuration needed to run PUBG Mobile on a mobile device is slightly higher. This meant that only devices that ran a midrange chipset and about 4 Gigabytes of RAM for the game to run at moderate settings. But later, PUBG Lite was released, which enabled people with devices to have a slightly lower configuration.
As with PUBG Mobile, PUBG Lite has been bought to Windows computers too.
How to install PUBG Lite on Windows PC
PUBG Lite for Windows computers requires comparatively lower configurations than PUBG Mobile. As mentioned on the official website, this is the configuration required to run PUBG Lite on Windows 11/10,

- Windows 7, 8, 10, 11 – 64 bit.
- Core i3 2.4 GHz.
- 4GB RAM.
- Intel HD Graphics 4000.
- 4 GB Hard drive space.
Recommended Requirements
- Windows 7, 8, 10, 11 – 64 bit.
- Core i5 2.8 GHz.
- 8 GB RAM.
- NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 or AMD Radeon HD 7870.
- 4 GB Hard drive space.
To download and install PUBG Lite on your Windows computer, navigate to the official website and click on the Download button. The file will be about 61 Megabytes in size.
Now, you need to get a PUBG Account created before installing it. For that, head here.
Once you have completed the form, go to the email inbox where you submitted it and verify your account as authentic.
Now, use a VPN which offers a Thailand-based IP address and get connected. This is because the game servers are open in Thailand only.
You can now run the executable file we just downloaded. It will ask you for your email and password credentials, which you used to fill out the form.
Once you are logged in, you will find a huge button in the Thai language. Just click on it to start downloading PUBG Lite.
The game data is around 1.9 Gigabytes; once that is downloaded, you can play the game.
Verdict
Playing the game was a smooth-running experience for me. It resembled the experience that we find on PUBG for PCs. However, the Graphics Quality is the main thing that we are missing out on here as the Graphics Quality is significantly low. However, if you just want to get a taste of playing PUBG and do not want to invest much in a computer with higher specifications, this is the best that the developer has to offer.
