How to print Background and Color Images in Word
In most cases, Word documents are viewed digitally and rarely printed, so there’s little need to add color or image to it while printing. Whatever’s the case, here how to make Word print the background color or image while printing.
- Launch Microsoft Word app.
- Go to the File menu.
- Select Options.
- Switch to Display tab.
- Go to Printing options.
- Enable Print background colors and images.
Let us see this in detail.
Launch Microsoft Word application.
Go to the File tab on the Ribbon menu.
Click the tab and in the sidebar displayed on the left, scroll down to Options.
Click the Options to open the Word Options window.
Next, switch to the Display tab.
Switch to the right-pane and scroll down to Printing Options.
There, check the box marked against the ‘Print background and color images’ option.
Again, go back to the File menu and then choose Print to check the print preview. Alternatively, you can press Ctrl+P key simultaneously to get the print preview in an instant.
As shown in the image above, the print preview displays the background color of the document.
Choose your default printer and then click the Print button to get the colored document printed.
