- Open Outlook
- Select the account or folder whose view you wish to reset
- Click on the View tab
- Click on the Reset view button
- Restart Outlook.
If the Reset view option is not available in your Outlook version, you may follow these steps:
- Open the Outlook app on your PC.
- Switch to the View tab.
- Click on the Change View button.
- Select the Compact option.

Here, you can find an option called Change View. You need to click on this option.
Next, select the Compact option.

However, this process is a minor setback. As Outlook allows users to set different views for different folders, following the aforementioned steps will apply the change to the current folder only.
