1] Uninstall Microsoft News App from the Start Menu
The simplest way to uninstall apps is with a right-click. There are two ways, one which is new with a recent feature update of Windows.

- When the Microsoft News App appears in the list, right-click on it

Windows 10

- Wait till the app list is populated.
- Click on the Microsoft News App.
