To use CarPlay with Teams, you need the following:

- The latest Teams app for iOS
How to use Apple CarPlay for Microsoft Teams Calls?
Before using Apple CarPlay for Microsoft Teams Calls, let’s know how to connect your iPhone to your car.
To do so, connect your iPhone to your car’s infotainment using Bluetooth or a USB cable. Your device’s screen will now appear automatically on your car’s display with all available CarPlay applications. Here, select Microsoft Teams.

Joining a meeting
To join a meeting via Apple CarPlay, select the Meetings tab to view and join your scheduled meetings.
Do note that all-day meetings won’t be shown unless selected, and a progress bar will display how much of the meeting has been completed. You can click on the meeting to join it. Also, only the meetings for the same day will be displayed, and the ones without Teams links can’t be joined.
Making Calls
There are three ways to make Microsoft Teams Calls using Apple CarPlay.
- Using Siri
- Using Speed Dial
- Using Call History

1] Using Siri
Yes, you can use Siri to make Teams calls via CarPlay. Here’s how:
- Open the Teams app on your CarPlay device and navigate to the Calls tab.
- Here, select Ask Siri to Make a Call and call out the name of the contact to call, or use Siri voice commands to help you place calls.
2] Using Speed Dial
In the Calls tab, click on the Speed dial option; this will bring up a list of contacts. Select the one you want to call.
3] Using Call History
Again, in the Calls tab, click on the Call History option to view all your recent calls and receives. Then, choose who you want to call.

Does Microsoft Teams work on Apple CarPlay?
