We all like to create awesome slideshow presentations on our Windows PC, but at times it can be a complicated affair. For this reason, we need a program that can create slideshows but without all the hassle and tussle. The freeware we want to recommend is known as Icecream Slideshow Maker. Yes, this is from the folks who create all the programs with the Icecream branding attached – like Icecream eBook Reader, Icecream PDF Converter, Icecream Image Resizer and Icecream Media Converter.
Icecream Slideshow Maker for Windows 11/10
Icecream Slideshow Maker is a free software that lets you create slideshows with your photos and save them in various formats including video. What we like about Icecream Slideshow Maker, is the fact that it does not require any particular skill at all, so users can jump in and get things up and running in quick succession.
When it comes down to image support formats, the software supports JPG, JPEG, PNG, and TIFF.
Create slideshows from Photos with Music
After downloading and installing the program, fire it up and get ready to create works of art. As we’ve stated above, there’s no difficulty in creating a slideshow, so anyone should be able to pull it off without much fuss.
To create a slideshow, just drag and drop images into the user interface. You can also click on the “Add Photo” option, or “Add Folder” option if you’re not interested in adding images one at a time.
When everything is in, users can play a preview or just create the slideshow if they feel comfortable. Before doing all of that, however, we suggest taking a look at the transition effects because each image has a random transition effect.
Icecream Slideshow Maker does not give the option to decide the transition effects before a picture is added, so it’s up to the user to make changes after. There are around 26 transitional effects to choose from, and they all performed smoothly on our computer.
When it comes down to file associations, any slideshow can be saved as WebM, MKV, or MP4. If you’re going to share your slideshows on the web, we recommend using MP4 as your first choice, and WebM as your second. WebM is best for the internet, but it’s not as widely supported as MP4.
Regarding Settings, this can be found via the bottom-left corner of the program. Click on it and a series of options will appear. From here, folks can change the default slideshow speed along with the default transition. Do you want to change the resolution or add a watermark to your work? It’s all possible here.
Overall, Icecream Slideshow Maker is a decent enough tool. There are no advanced options here, but if you’re an amateur, those little things are not needed. Download it from the official website.
