There might come a time when you feel the need to transfer your Minecraft account to another Email. This s highly important because Minecraft is a popular game, and most players will prefer to preserve their account rather than walk away from it and create a new one entirely. The plan is to transfer your account to another email in the easiest way possible. Bear in mind that this method only works with older Minecraft accounts, so that’s something you need to take into consideration before moving forward.
Now, the first thing you must do before going any further is to make sure your new email account is up and running if you haven’t created one as of yet. We suggest using Outlook, but you can use whatever option that is best in your opinion.
How to transfer Minecraft Account to another Email
Migrating your Minecraft account to a new email is super easy, but if you are having problems, well, we will have your back as always. The steps are as follows:
The first step to transfer your Minecraft Account to another Email is to visit the migration page provided by Mojang. If you’re confused as to who or what Mojang is, well, it’s the company that created Minecraft, which Microsoft now owns.
On the page, you can see that you will be required to fill in some forms. Be sure to add your Minecraft account credentials in detail. Your email, username, and password, are all required here for things to go over smoothly.
From this section, the user will be asked to add type the details of their new Mojang account, which is the new Minecraft account. Login with the same email and password used to create the new account right away.
Users will be asked to add their date of birth and to accept the Terms and Conditions before going any further.
The terms and conditions are pretty extensive, so we won’t go into them here. You can do that for yourself if you feel the need to do so.
Finally, click the Migrate Account button to move data from the old account directly to the new one.
It’s unlikely for the steps we’ve laid out to ever fail, but if things go sideways, then we would like to suggest making contact with Mojang.
Visit the contact page, follow the instructions there, and you should be just fine.
