1] Check connector cable
Every monitor must be connected to your graphics card or CPU using a cable called VGA, DVI-D, HDMI, etc. If there are issues with this cable, there is a high chance of getting this problem. As this problem mainly appears when there are issues with the connector cable, it is suggested that you change it.
2] Use a different port
The cable and the port can be responsible for this problem. If you haven’t unplugged the cable for a long time, dust can cause your problem. That is why it is recommended to use a different port. However, if your monitor doesn’t have a similar port, you can opt for another type of port, e.g., VGA, DVI-D, etc.
3] Check the monitor’s settings
Almost all monitors have integrated settings or options that you can use to enable or disable power save mode, control brightness and contrast, etc. If your monitor has those options, you are advised to check them. You can control those settings and options using the monitor buttons.
4] Disable USB selective suspend
USB selective suspend lets you disable specific USB ports when they have not been used for some time. However, the same thing can cause the issue above on your computer. That is why you are suggested to follow these steps to disable USB selective suspend:
- Search for power option.
- Click on the individual search result.
- Click the Change advanced power settings.
- Expand USB settings > USB selective suspend setting.
- Click on Enabled of On battery and choose Disabled.
- Do the same with Plugged in.
- Click on OK.
5] Check Power settings
Windows 11/10 comes with some power settings that you can use to turn on the display or put your display to sleep after a specific time. We would suggest you check those settings using these steps:
- Search for power option and click on the search result.
- Find the turn off the display option and set it as Never.
- Find the Put the computer to sleep option and set it as Never.
- Click the Save changes.

Next, right-click on the graphics driver/device and select the Uninstall device option. Then, confirm the uninstallation.
After uninstallation, download the driver from your graphics card manufacturer’s official website and install it.

If none of the abovementioned solutions work for you, it is suggested that you use integrated graphics instead of an external graphics card. This way, you will be sure whether the problem lies in your graphics card.
I hope these solutions work for you.
