- In the Properties window, input 0 (Show icon and text) or 1 (Show only icon) or 2 (Hide everything) in the Value data box, per requirement.
- Click OK or hit Enter to save the change.
After making the changes, reboot your computer and the computer.
4] Use Group Policy Editor to disable it
Users can configure many important settings on their computers or networks using the
Local Group Policy Editor in Windows 11. We can configure startup programs and password requirements, and we can also fix news and interest memory leaks through Group Policy.
If you are using Windows 11/10 Home, you won’t be able to use Group Policy.
Follow the prescribed steps to disable News and Interests from the Group Policy.
