If you have enough paper in the printer’s in-tray, but your printer still says that it is Out of paper, try the following suggestions:
- Make sure the printer is not overstacked with papers
- Check if the paper has any damaged corners
- Clean the paper rollers
- Reset the printer
- Adjust the paper settings in the print driver
Let’s get into the details of the solutions.
1] Make sure the printer is not overstacked with papers
If you stuff the printer with more and more papers than it can handle, you can see the error. You need to make sure the papers are set in proper limits and can be easily pickable by the printer. If enough papers are in the tray, remove them and see if they are put properly. See if the papers are good enough to roll and remove scrambled papers. Make sure every paper is good to roll into the printer. Also, make sure the tray is not overstuffed with papers.
2] Check if the paper has any damaged corners
The papers that are stacked in the printer should be clear without damage or folds. Make sure the papers are in good condition and remove the papers that look bad. Also, align the paper correctly in the printer according to the lines on the printer.
3] Clean the paper rollers
The condition of the paper rollers of your printer should be good. Clean them and make sure they don’t have any dust or anything on them. If it is not cleaned, it hinders the printer’s performance and you see such errors. You need to clean the paper roller of your printer manually and see it is perfectly fine without any dust on it. These minute things make a lot of difference in the printer’s performance.
