Razer Synapse is configuration software for users with Razer laptops and peripherals. It lets you configure controls and assign macros to any of your Razer peripherals. By default, Razer Synapse is set to launch on Windows startup. It means that whenever you turn on your computer, Razer Synapse will start automatically. Follow the on-screen instructions on the uninstallation wizard. If you have installed Razer Cortex along with the Razer Synapse, uninstall it too.
Now, open File Explorer and go to the following address.
C:\Program Files (x86)
Locate the Razer folder and delete it. Now, go to the following location in File Explorer.
C:\ProgramData
If you do not find the ProgramData folder, enable the hidden files and folder in File Explorer. Locate and delete the Razer folder. Now, download the latest version of Razer Synapse from the official website and install it again. This should help.
6] Place the Razer Synapse desktop shortcut in the Startup folder
Windows 11/10 has a startup folder. When you place the shortcut of any app inside this folder, Windows will start that app automatically on system startup. If despite trying the above fixes, the problem persists, you can take the advantage of the Startup folder.
To open the Startup folder, follow the steps mentioned below:
- Open the Run command box (Win + R).
- Type shell:startup and click OK.
The above command will open the Startup folder. Now, copy the Razer Synapse desktop shortcut and paste it into the Startup folder. If the Razer Synapse shortcut is not available on your desktop, follow the steps written below:
- Click on Windows Search.
- Type Razer Synapse.
- Right-click on it and select Open file location.
- Now, copy the Razer Synapse shortcut and paste it into the Startup folder.

Task Scheduler is a great app in Windows 11/10 that lets you schedule tasks on your system. Using it, you can open files and folders on system startup or on a particular date and time.
