Browsing the Windows Store for new apps and games can be fun. Just the other day, we blogged about Fresh Paint for Windows PC and Disk Falcon, a futuristic Disk Scanner & Analyzer Windows UWP app, based on a Game Engine. Today let’s check out Posterpedia.
Posterpedia Microsoft Store app
Posterpedia is an interactive app that uses technical posters as a reference for understanding Microsoft technologies.
Posterpedia is a free Windows Store app that will help you understand Microsoft technologies. To do so, it uses technical posters. There are severel technologies which are covered, viz:
Cloud, Windows Server 2012 Hyper-V, Windows Server 2008 R2 with SP1 Hyper-V, Windows Server 2008 R2 Hyper-V, Remote Desktop Services, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 Active Directory, Windows Server 2003 Active Directory, Exchange Server 2010, Exchange 2007, Services in SharePoint 2012 products, SharePoint 2010 Products Deployment, and Windows Azure SQL Database Federation.
Surprisingly, the app does not include a poster for Windows 10. We hope it too will be included in the next update of the app. It shows promise and can become a great app, it is updated regularly with the latest versions like Windows Server.
Server Posterpedia is an interactive app and you can get a lot of additional options by clicking or right-clicking inside the poster. Right-clicking even brings up additional options in the bar at the bottom, which when clicked can point you to more resources and downloads on the web.
If you are an IT Pro who loves Microsoft technologies, you definitely want to download this 40MB app from the Windows Store.
