You need to ensure that your name, address, and card details are all correct, otherwise, your bank will most certainly decline the payment offer due to security reasons. To do the same, you need to follow the steps mentioned below.
- Open Discord and click on the cog icon to open its Settings.
- Then, navigate to the Billing tab.
- You can see the payment details in the Payment Method section. Cross-check everything and make sure that they are correct.
2] Contact your bank and check your funds
There is a possibility that your bank has blocked the transaction from their end due to which you are unable to make the payment. So, contact your bank’s customer care and ask them if they have misidentified the transaction as malicious and have blocked it. If so, you can ask them to unflag the transaction and/or add Discord transactions to allowlist. Once this is sorted, again make the payment and hopefully, this will do the job for you.
Also, ensure that you check your bank account or credit card statement before making a transaction. This will confirm that you have sufficient funds to cover the payment you’re trying to make. If your balance is low, you need to add fund to your account before attempting the transaction again. Not just that, review your card’s expiration date to ensure that it’s still valid.
3] Submit a ticket to Discord to resolve the issue
If there is nothing wrong with your bank and transaction, you need to contact Discord support and ask them to do the needful. Follow the steps mentioned below to create and submit the ticket to Discord.
- Open any browser and go to support.discord.com.
- Now, click on Billing.
- Then click on Submit a request, select the question from the drop-down, and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.
Once done, you will get a follow-up mail where they will try to solve your grievances.
