Some of those who have upgraded to Windows 11/10 are facing several Windows problems and issues. They could range from Wi-Fi not working, Search not working, Settings not opening, Start Menu or Taskbar not working, Windows Store not working, some Windows Store app not opening, and so on. If you are looking for some Windows 11/10 Support and Solutions to fix your problems, read on.
For most of these problems, there are some basic things you need to do. Follow these suggestions and chances are very high that most of your problems will be resolved. While these five will fix most of your Windows problems and issues, if you need specific troubleshooting advice, do follow the links to the several solutions I have mentioned here, at the end of this post.
Windows 11/10 Support and Solutions
Before you commence, make sure that your Windows 10 is updated with the latest updates. Having done that, create a system restore point and move on.
Most Windows 11/10 problems can be solved by carrying out the following tasks:
- Run System File Checker to replace corrupted system files with good one’s
- RunDISM to repair corrupted Windows system image
- Re-register the Microsoft Store apps
- Reset Windows Store cache
- Use Reset This PC.
Let us take a look at them.
1] Repair corrupted Windows system files
Some of your files could have got corrupted as a result of which Windows 11/10 is not working the way it should.
From the WinX Menu, open Command Prompt (Admin), type the following and hit Enter to run the System File Checker.
sfc /scannow
This will scan your PC and replace your corrupted system files with good ones. Restart after the scan is over.

2] Repair corrupted Windows system image
Run the DISM tool to repair a possibly corrupted system image. To repair Windows Image, open an elevated command prompt, type the following and hit Enter.
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
Restart after the scan is over and see if it helped.
3] Re-register the Microsoft Store and apps
Search for ‘PowerShell’ in taskbar search, select Windows PowerShell from the results, right-click on it and choose Run as administrator. This will run PowerShell as an administrator.
Now type the following and hit Enter.
Get-AppXPackage | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}
This will re-register Windows Store Apps.
4] Reset Windows Store Cache
Open Command Prompt as an administrator, type WSReset.exe, and hit Enter. This will clear and reset the Windows Store Cache.

5] Use Reset This PC
There is now a new way to refresh Windows, and it is called Fresh Start! Fresh Start in Windows Defender Security Center in Windows 11/10 will let you easily reinstall your Windows operating system without removing your data & personal files, and some settings.
Alternatively, you could use Reset this PC option.
