Controlling devices with voice is a new thing regarding the IoT. The growth of smart speakers brings into the scope of voice-controlling appliances is growing too. With this, Microsoft has announced support for Xbox Action for Google Assistant officially. This means that users can use the Google Assistant on their Smart Speaker, Android phone, iOS device, and whatnot to control their Xbox. This is released as a public beta as of now and is available on Xbox One devices and in English only.
Enable & use Xbox Action for Google Assistant

1] Setting up the Xbox Action for Google Assistant
You need to join the Google Group with your Google account signed in which you intend to use it with Google Assistant.
Sign in to your Xbox now.
On your Android or iOS device, open the Google Home app.
Select + Add.
Now tap on Set up device.
Tap Have something already set up?
Let it search and from the populated list, select [beta] Xbox.
Use the Microsoft account linked to your Xbox to sign-in on the Google Home app.
Follow the instructions to link your Xbox and give it a device name
*If no devices are found, try enabling the Digital Assistants setting on your console (Settings > Devices & Streaming > Digital Assistants)
The default name for your Xbox in the Google Home or the Google Assistant app would be Xbox. However, you can change it anytime to anything you want using the said applications.

How do I enable Google Assistant on Xbox?
To enable Google Assistant on Xbox, you need to use the Google Home app on your mobile device. Here, click on the Add button and select the Set up device option. Next, select Have something already set up? Option and select the Xbox option. Now, you need to sign into your Xbox account to get it done.
