Restart or power cycle your console.
Check your network connection.
Make sure you have enough free space on your hard drive.
Remove and then re-add your profile.
Perform an offline update.
Reset your Xbox One console.

1] Restart or power cycle your console

Restarting your console helps you get rid of several errors and issues. So, at first, you can try rebooting your Xbox One console and then update it to check if the problem is resolved. To do that, press the Xbox button on your controller and move to the Profile & system > Settings > General > Power options section. After that, press the Restart now button to reboot your console to check whether the issue is gone.

If a simple restart doesn’t work, you can perform a power cycle on your Xbox One console. Now, go to the Profile & system > Settings section.

3] Make sure you have enough free space on your hard drive

5] Perform an offline update

For that, you need a Windows PC with an NTFS formatted USB drive with a minimum 6GB storage capacity, a USB port, and an active and stable internet connection. Also, get the latest Xbox OSU1 file from the official Xbox website and unzip the downloaded file. After that, copy the $SystemUpdate file from the extracted ZIP file to your USB drive and connect the USB drive to your console to start the offline update process. 6] Reset your Xbox One console
